The Hartswood Day at Upminster Bowls Club on 11th July I think everyone would agree was an very enjoyable, well-organised day for the two Leagues. Unfortunately Hartswood retains the trophy but there's always next year!

Warley Woods League v. Gidea Park League 22nd August 2026 at Brentwood Bowls Club, 9.30 for 10.00. Lunch is £8 and will be a Ploughman's Lunch with dessert as usually served. As usual all raffle prizes are gratefully received. PLEASE REMEMBER TO INPUT YOUR CAR REGISTRATION IN THE TICKET MACHINE ON ARRIVAL AND THEN GET ANOTHER TICKET TO PLACE INSIDE YOUR CAR FROM THE BOWLS CLUB ITSELF.
Knock-Out Competitions Finals Day - this is always held on the first Friday of September which in 2026 is 4th September. The Rules for these competitions can be found on the Knockout Comps page along with downloadable draw sheets for the Pairs and Triples.
Presentation Lunch to be held on Sunday 1st November 2026 at the same venue as last year in Upminster. The forms for this lunch should be up on Clubs' noticeboards now to enable you all to make your menu choices.
Annual General Meeting to be held on Sunday 15th November 2026 at Brentwood Bowls Club (parking fees apply as above)

Both finals were represented by the same two Clubs, Romford and Clock House.
The TRIPLES FINAL played in the morning was won by the
Clock House team of Angela Ueckermann, Margaret Tinton and Paula Edgell
in a close fought game against the Romford team of Dot Pope , Suzanne White and Pat Powder .
